Daring To Be Different is the story of the Life of Catherine Elizabeth McAuley, Foundress of The Sisters of Mercy.
In 1996, Anne, a teacher, read the life of Catherine McAuley and being deeply touched by this beautiful woman of mercy, became an Associate of the (then) Brooklyn Regional Community of the Sisters of Mercy.
In 1994 Anne became a volunteer at Mercy International Centre. She was invited to write the story of Catherine which would appeal to young people. That, she considers to be one of the greatest joys of her life.
